Telkom looses an easy client (to be)

I just can't believe that Telkom so easily looses an (easy) customer (to be). The matter was easy, I wanted to take over a data related contract from a person who lived with me and emigrates. I thought this should be easy, since address and all matter was the same, except for owner and new debit order from my account. I took all information with me (ID, bank account number etc.) with the final message that I was not credible for this R 800 / month contract. I was totally flabbergasted as home owner, Vodacom client and having a well paid job for > 15 years on a permanent basis. End of story: the contract was only canceled and I am going to look for other options ......
