Telkom LIT, Not working + Problem not resolved.

Prior to Mid Jan, I was encouraging everyone I know to move over to Telkom - the data was great, and the added airtime a welcomed bonus!

Then I was made aware that LIT allowed me to stream videos, and I was SUPER excited! So we started making use of it right away.

Then I started experiencing trouble with my LIT data not being used from mid Jan. Yet my purchased Data [once off bundle] was being used [I think it was easily 10Gig's by now!]

I contacted the call centre numerous times between the 18th - 21st and was given varying "solutions" from: - You need to "subscribe" to the other party [and after spending ages with the "other parties" call centres who knew nothing about what I was referring to - we came to realisation that you meant that I needed to have an account + not make a special LIT subscription with them! - I needed to remove my data roaming [which I had done] - The resolution needed to be below 360p [which I had done]

My husband was also experiencing similar problems, and was then advised that you were no longer supporting Netflix!?!?! I thought that it was absolutely crazy at the time, as I had received NO NOTIFICATION as a LIT user - surely they wouldn't stop supporting something as big as netflix without letting us know. Mine continued to work for a few more days, and then my data suddenly started being chewed up astronomically! Where is the customer service in that?!?!

After the varying run arounds, I then contacted your call centre again, and logged my official complaint on the 24th Jan [ref: ********** 5], I advised your team that I had jumped through all the above hoops, and that it was still a problem. They said that they had noticed that my LIT was being used... to which I advised that I had done tests... I had captured the Data before watching a video + after... and in some cases it was using half my data, but in most cases all my data was being depleted.

They said that they would look into it. I followed up after a reasonable time, and was advised that i needed to give them 72 WORKING hours to resolve it [I was shocked], and then the agent clarified a few of my concerns + ammended the information - referring it to the department that needed to look into it.

On Saturday 2nd Feb, I followed up again. I advised that we were long beyond our 72 working hours. She advised that her Team leader was closing the case, and was going to solve it for me with urgency.

I followed up AGAIN today, and the agent said that I needed to wait ANOTHER 48hours.

This has been going on for longer than 17 days now!!! Considering the amount of data I use - you'd think that they would want to retain me as a client! They have not resolved my call, or my husbands [who opened his case prior to mine].

I felt that if I waited yet another 48hours, I know that when I call AGAIN, it will be yet another "we'll look into it" message.

Can someone please resolve my querry!?!?!

Launa, It seems your team resolved your querry based on the fact that I was using video larger than 360... as you can see in my message above - they clearly didn't read this - as I had ammended my settings to below 360 on my side! Apparently I now have to wait another 24hours for this to be looked into!

Launa - Still no response!!! [message send 1 March] It seems your team resolved your querry based on the fact that I was using video larger than 360... as you can see in my message above - they clearly didn't read this - as I had ammended my settings to below 360 on my side! Apparently I now have to wait another 24hours for this to be looked into! It's now the 13th March [2 months after the fact] and I have not had this problem resolved! I received a message stating that I needed to dial *180# to activate streaming, but there is nothing about LIT on the dashboard when I go there!?!?!?!?!

I have just contacted the call centre - who advised that they are escalating this again. Same promise as 2 weeks ago. I think it's time your directors are made aware - as I'm beyond frustrated after 2 months of this!
