Telkom Lit box Nightmare

I had bought the telkom lit box in 2018from Telkom Gateway as a gift for my girlfriend who lives in Johannesburg. It worked very well up until a few months after purchase when a software upgrade was automatically done which resulted in the box not working and thus me taking it to the Telkom Sandton City store who in turn sent it for a software upgrade at their manufacturer and it worked well until the same problem happened and back again it went to Sandton City branch who sent it for a second time for a software upgrade. It worked again for a while until it stopped working for a 3rd time,I had taken it back yet again this time the warranty had expired and point blank no assistance was given to me although there was a history of the problem. I then found the company who manufactured the Lit box and at my cost paid for the box to be sent and returned only for the manufacturer to blame it on a hardware problem thus saying there was no more that can be done. Very disappointed as the box had been handled and packaged securely throughout this year and a bit. Very sad to see R1499.99 being s****ped and my girlfriend with having to wait until I get have money to buy her another one.
