Telkom Line still not cancelled....

I requested cancellation of internet and fixed voice line from Telkom, in May 2018. I received a reference number for the cancellation in May. After months of wrangling the service was cancelled. I just checked my account online today (26 September 2018), and I noticed that I am still being billed for the Fixed Voice Service, for the line I had cancelled in May. The charge is for "Closer Call Catcher: R9.84, Telkom Weekender Plan: R7.21, Telkom Line Rental: R200.74).

I checked my online bill, and noticed that I have been billed this amount since May, when the service was supposed to have been cancelled. I then contacted Telkom's 10210 number this morning (26 September 2018), and I was told that the service that they need to look into my account is currently offline, and it has been offline for more than an hour. I was asked to call back in an hour.....this is extremely frustrating, as the more I tried to explain that this is urgent, the more I get told that the system in offline, and there is nothing they can do...

I have been paying this extra amount for the past 4 months, and I have a reference number for the cancellation that was initiated in May this year. So disappointing and unfair that I just have to accept and wait, while I am getting all frustrated about the situation.

Good day Telkom, Please be advised that I have been billed for yet another month, for my line that was supposed to be cancelled in May this year. So I had to pay another R218 for a line that I am not using. So that's 5 months (June - Oct 2018) at about R215 per month = R1,075 that I have paid for nothing. This is absolutely ********, as my money is being ****** by Telkom. How inept can you get. I demand that the line be cancelled before the next billing cycle, or at least for someone to contact me.

I really wonder what Telkom executives and/or employees will do if they get treated like this....will they accept it and just pay for months for a service that they not using?? I don't think so.....

Maybe I should stop my monthly debit order to Telkom, until this mess is sorted out?
