Telkom line speed upgrade rule?

<p>I app**** for an adsl line speed upgrade from 4mbps to 8mbps. My line according to telkom is only capable of 6.8mbs because of the distance to the exchange. I am happy with that speed and I am willing to pay for an 8 mbps line and only get the 6.8 mbps. Telkom now tells me after 2 weeks of me phoning them that my order has been cancelled because it is against the rules. What bad service and how does that make any sense. Axxess is willing to give me this service if I migrate my line so how come telkom cant???????</p>
