Telkom Line Move / Cancellation
I recently moved up to JHB from Cape Town and decided to enquire about a line move since i am no longer in Cape Town.

I got a decent response from the Social Media Team on Twitter who sent me a couple of links to cancellation forms.

So after i apply for the line move I get a call from a Telkom debt collector saying that i owe them R600 and once i pay that, she will contact me within 3 working days to cancel and move my line for me.

I paid the money, no callback or anything so i decided to cancel my line myself and move it myself, only to receive a email from Telkom saying that my line cant be moved because i owe them another R600.

I receive a SMS today saying that if i dont pay them by such and such date they are going to hand me over to legal collections.

Is this a joke???

Why must i pay for something that i dont use and have tried to cancel 3 times?

Angry Customer
