Telkom Line dead for the whole week
<p>I have been trying to log faults on a line that has been dead for the whole week. Telkom is not doing anything to fix the lines in our area. It looks like every December Telkom cuts the lines in our area and does nothing to fix them. Evn last year December 2015 we were without any service for the whole month of December. I see that Telkom is now trying to repeat the same thing again. I dont know how we are supposed to run our small businesses when telkom is taing food out of our mounths by causing issues and not resolving them. Telkom service to Lotus Gardens is really black, I dont see the same issues hapenning in suburbs. Telkom please fix the lines in Lotus Gardens you are making life difficult for us.</p>
I received an SMS this morning with the following fault numbers: 656CTK291116 and network fault 5BTK291116. I have also been trying to follow-up on fault 242CTK021216 with no success. This is the second week with lines that dont work. By small business is severly affected by this. I hope when the bill comes it will reflect that there was no service from 29Nov2016 until today or the coming days if the issue is still not fixed. Even last year December 2015 we had lines that were dead for the whole month. Is this whole thing intentional that every December Telkom will cut lines in Lotus Gardens area?

Telkom please let us know when you will be fixing the lines. I daught this would have been let to carry on this long if it were in a surburb. But because we are dealing with areas where there a predominatly black people Telkom does not even take the effort to fix their lines which have been dead for 8 days now. How are the small businesses in the area supposed to survive when you are making every effort to make sure we struggle. I hope the next bill that will come will show that I did not have a working telephone line for over a week.
