Telkom likes to rip people off.

I constantly have people call me saying they calling on behalf of Telkom and that they offering a special only available over the phone. Since I was in the market for a new contract I heard them out. So I was offered a cellphone(huawei y something) with a new sim and 2 gigs data, unlimited Telkom mobile and landline No's and unlimited social data. I confirmed this info a couple times with the consultant. I even gave 180 a call to confirm this. They all said yes that's the package. So I took it and firstly the delivery people never showed up on the days they said they would which was a huge inconvieniance, I got it towards the middle of the month so when I looked at my balances I was a bit shocked. I was charged over R170 for internet usage? I was annoyed but I still overlooked it hoping it will settle in the new month. Now when I check they give me 2gigs social data and no data for normal usage? Why did they lie to me? What should I do with 2gigs social and pay over R200 for internet usage on top of the contract price? This is unacceptable. I called 180 again. The lady I spoke to didn't seem to understand what my issue was. She placed me on hold till the call eventually got cut. I want this sorted out asap. I don't have the luxury of time to sit on hold with your consultants. I want what I was promised and a credit on my account for the internet usage. Telkom always messes up my account 1 way or another every time and I am left sitting with huge bills which eventually after months get credited. No more. If this is not sorted out asap I will be forced to look at legal routes. The consumer protection act should be on my side for such flagrant misdirection.
