Telkom Lies

I got a phone call from Telkom advertising an upgrade for my home WiFi to 10mbps from 4mbps, promising a free LIT box and a WiFi extender as part of the new package. I accepted regardless of the increase in subscription of about R200 per month. I was told to wait for someone to call me regarding the delivery of my stuff. Then there was silence, until I decided to walk into a branch where, after queuing for 90 minutes, I got told that I was not going to get the promised goods since the T&Cs specified that it was “while stocks last”! Really Telkom? The audacity to continue advertising to the public knowing that it’s nothing but a load of lies, has made me lose all faith in Telkom. I can’t wait for my contract to expire so I can look elsewhere. Disgusted!!!
