Telkom Landline -Too Many Outages & diff to Cancel
Why do Telkom not just pay off all their technicians and keep the management and the clerks, as the landline has had too many outages over the last 3 years? We have a contract, but Telkom is not keeping to their side to deliver.

I have managed to get a form and emailed the cancellation (apparently the service centres do not handle these ?). In their reply Telkom has the audacity to reserve 14 working days for them to contact you, only then to start the line cancellation process !

In addition, Telkom is trying to circumvent their responsibilities ito the CPA, by trying to get a client whom cancels to agree to a months notice, even when the line is not working, and they are clearly dragging their feet even more when cancelling, than when they are supposed to provide a working line. Apparently the skills set in the exchange here is way too low, and the housekeeping and maintenance is way behind.

The cancellation process is clearly unconscionable conduct ito the CPA.

Convergence to lack of skills, and lack of service and intent, if you ask me !

CANCEL the landline which is yet again NOT working !
