Telkom landline suspension
Dear Sir I want to log a complaint against TELKOM. We have had a Telkom phone since 1988 with the number ********** . On 30 September 2005 we switched the phone line to a prepaid line with identity number ********** ********** 67. We have used this phone ever since without any problems and had to pay a yearly fee before 30 September each year for the line. However, this year Telkom switched to fibre lines and since then we are having constant trouble. On 27 September this year we bought coupons, worth of R400 to load onto our account. However, the phone was blocked so that we were unable to load. At that stage we could still receive calls. On 2 October we phoned Telkom customer services and logged a complaint with reference number ********** . Afterwards we phoned twice again stating this reference number. Nothing happened. We could still not load the coupons. Then we went to Telkom Customer Care Services in Menlyn Park and logged our complaint personally. The lady serving us only said the simcard was suspended, but could not tell us why or give us any more information. She sent an email to the relevant department. Since this week we cannot even receive calls. Our service is totally suspended. Could you please look into this matter?
