Telkom Kenilworth Poor Customer Service
On the 03/05/2018 at 14:05PM I handed in my Huawei P9 Lite in to Telkom Kenilworth Store for repairs. This was an insurance claim through Telkom which was approved, and I was instructed to hand the phone to any Telkom store and they will send it away on my behalf. I was told by the consultant at the store it can take up to 21 working days. On the 15/05/2018 I received an email from Thembani Sathekge at ********** I was informed the excess for the repair would be R500 and I made the payment immediately for them to go ahead with the repair. The repair was done and the phone sent back to the store on the 18/05/2018. Ram parcel number FINR06- ********** 5 (ADIEL from Telkom Kenilworth signed for the phone). All my contact details I left at the store and I was assured that they will inform me once the phone does arrive back from repairs. On the 27/06/2018 I still had received no contact regarding the status of my phone and whether it is ready for collection. I then contacted Finrite and the lady told me that the phone was already repaired and sent back to the Kenilworth Telkom Store on the 18/05/2018 already. This is really pathetic service from Telkom as I was not informed that my phone was repaird and is ready for collection. There is no excuse as well because all my contact details they had but no one bothered to inform me. Had it not been for me as the client to call the insurance I would have never known that my phone was laying at the store for 6 weeks already. Is this how you treat all your clients?
