Telkom keeps deducting money from my account despite giving them 30 days notice and despite receiving the conformation from them.

Telkom is still deducting money from my account despite my cellphone contract lapsing 2 months ago and I had given notice a month in advance before my contract was due for an upgarde. I clearly told them that I don't want to continue with telkom and they made me fill in forms and gave me the confirmation that my contract is indeed ending and they will only deduct the last payment. It is absoluely shocking what I had to go through for the last 2 years that I have been with Telkom. I haven't used their simcard once for the duration of the contract because the useless lady who was helping me misled me about the quanity of the free minutes. In addition, one month they deducted R8000 from my account and it took me 3 months to get my money back and as a result I missed payment for my credit card and they didn't even apologise. I had written to the consumer commission but they are toothless and pathetic. I just want to get out of Telkom and I have done everything they told me to do but they keep deducted money from my account when they have no right to do it. They are the REAL ******** and I am absolutely sure that I am not their only victim.

Their 180 customer call is not working most of the time and goes staright to voicemail. It is a nightmare being with Telkom and it is a nightmare when the rules favours big ********* companies and I will have to spend thousands of Rands if I want to recover my money. Where is the logic in that?
