Telkom keeps debiting after service has been canceled.

January 2020 I opened a month-to-month data LTE with them (or so the lady at the store told me). When I wanted to stop the service online in January 2021, they told me I need to go to a store, as this was a 24 month contract. At the Loch Logan branch, the guy acknowledged that it was a mistake on Telkom's side, and that a case was opened to stop the monthly LTE service. Case nr ***0. 2021.02.23 I received a text confirming that the service has been successfully canceled and that the cancellation effective date is 2021.02.28. My "last" debit order went off my account on 2021.02.28 From the 1st of March, my service was suspended and the sim card no longer worked. I thereby assumed that the service as well as the debit orders are now finalized. This is apparently not how Telkom works... They stop your service, but feel it is ok to continue taking one's money. Another debit order went off this morning (2021.03.31). I phoned in and asked for the mistake to be rectified, only to be told by a super ****y young man that just because my sim card was stopped, I should not expect the payments to be stopped. This makes no sense in any which way. After almost an hour on the phone, I finally got through to another assistant, but she could only log a case and ask that someone takes this matter further. New case nr: ***3.

This is unacceptably bad service from Telkom. Is there any way this matter can be escalated? Or is this the level of service (*****?!?!) they are comfortable with providing to our country?
