Telkom keep promising but not refunding R700.00 deposit !!!

I app**** for land line and ADSL, was requested by Telkom same day to make a R700 deposit (refundable upon cancellation) to start the process. I deposited the R700 the next day. After 60 days of no response I decided to cancel my application as fiber installations started in our area. On 30th April 2019, I requested a refund of the R700. They confirmed that there is a R700 credit on my account and will phone me within 7 to 14 days to confirm my banking details and do the refund. 20 days later I contacted them to follow up. They advised that they had escalated the request and someone will phone me immediately. Since then I have been phoning every two days and get a different excuse every time and been told that someone will call me the same or next day. I am about to make another call today. Im tired of having to keep calling Telkom with no satisfaction or result it has been 2 months of promising but not delivering from Telkom.
