Telkom just doesn't care. Client interaction is pure soul destruction with no resolution or feedback

A three year LTE 50GB Home office contract of mine expired on 9 April 2017 at R1299 per month.

36 x R1299 monthly loyal and faithful payments made.

On 10 April I went into a Telkom store in Sandton to migrate to 100GB Day/Night Month to Month offering at R999 per month.

Queued for two hours to be flippantly told (by Sebastian) there is a provisioning system issue and internal cases need to be raised: ( ********** 4, ********** 4, ********** 4 ), stating that cases needed to be logged to convert/renew the existing contract (despite an order being loaded ********** 13A).

I was given a 72 "working hour" SLA.

Several mind numbing calls to 081 180 lead nowhere, but am told they sent emails to remind back office to reinitiate the case and call me. Never happened.

Today, I call to follow up yet again, was put on hold for half an hour to end up back at the IVR. After an hour I am still nowhere.

This firm doesn’t care about loyal customers merely trying to change a contract and continue to support them. For a aspiring first world technology company, they have a long way to go in treating customers properly. I act with my feet.

Fortunately there are other options.
