Telkom is Useless

Since January this year, my phone line has been non-functional on 6 occasions for extended periods of time. I also live in an area with no cell phone network so rely on my landline and internet through this landline. I have a toddler and a baby on the way and having no method of communication in my home is a safety concern. Every time we log an issue with Telkom we get an acknowledgement and then nothing is done. On the times when it was fixed, it took 4-12 weeks to fix it. It is absolutely useless and we will now finally explore other service providers like Neotel.
