TELKOM IS THE WORST IF THERE WAS ZERO RATING I WOULD CHOOSE IT!!!

To say I am disappointed in the service from Telkom is an understatement!!!

I spent money bought their LTE data which I am unable to use and the "best advise" Im being given is to spend more money and buy any network data. I am unable to work now which is the primary reason why I bought their sim, I have to spend more money which I dont have to buy more data which is unfair to me because of their non existent network operator.

I bought a Telkom sim on the 24th December with data which was loaded at the store. When I inserted the sim on the 26th December to start using it...I realised that I was having trouble with the whole registration and the data was not roaming....I couldn't use it...it seemed as if I did not have data at all.

I called the Telkom call centre the person I spoke with advised that I had to search for a network operator manually on my phone as it was not picking TelkomSA or Telkom Monate automatically....I did that it still didn't help...I called them again and I was sent configuration settings which were supposed to help it still didn't help. In the evening I made a 3rd call the lady said I am supposed to switch off "using mobile data while roaming" option and do the configuration settings which she resent. That seemed to work as I was able to browse the internet until 00:00 it stopped working. 27th December morning I call Telkom call centre yet again and the lady said on her system she sees that the tower is down in my area she will log call for me and I have to wait for 72 hours. The technician will give me a call (which I am still waiting for 28th Dec morning) or I can buy "any network data" in the meantime.

I went to Telkom Eastgate where I bought the sim the guy said there is nothing they can do as the retail store they only assist to a certain extent...I can rather buy anytime data in the meantime.

Terrible service overall and I regret spending my money with you!!!!
