Telkom is the worst

For the past mont I have been trying to cancel my telokm cobtract. The online platform bombs out before you can complete, I sent an email, they sent me documents that I do not open to complete and send back, I calledxtge call centre, they cannot cancel over the phone. Yesterday I went into Telkom Southgate, afyer waiting for 1.5 hours to be assisted, they tell me oh your contract is 23 months and 27 days and if we cancel it now yo7 will be charged a penalty of R850. Come back in 3 days, lile seriously, you cannot do this eith a future date? Then also if i cancel in 4 days time I need to give them 30 days notice??? So the contract basically os 25 months? Tlek9ms cancellation process is non existant, they want to keep consumers tied to them by making every process extremly difficult. My cell c contract also expires this month, i called tjem in July, they noted the cancellato9n for the end of aug and sent me a confirmation email. Painless. For telkom who has been around for so long to still have such outdated processes is a real concern.
