Telkom is the worst!

My Sim card that I've had with Telkom for 10 years, which is still on a contact with them suddenly stopped working. The sim simply stated "no service" and "does not exist". I am unable to receive or make call nor am I able to receive OTP's or sms as the sim does not work. When I asked a consultant at the Telkom store, she advised that I need to do a sim swap. I needed a proof of residence and a ID otherwise she cannot help me. I've had this same number and contract with Telkom for so long, their network made my sim card to stop working now I have to jump through hoops to fix the sim on a contract I am paying for every month. Jokes. I requested for the contract to be cancelled immediately and made prepaid since the phone has been paid up LUCKILY! I will be taking my business elsewhere. Happy so supply the new provider with proof of residence and ID. Telkom's coverage and service sucks and they never seem to work. Worst provider in SA hands down!
