Telkom is THE WORST!!!

So after cancelling my #Telkom account in May this year after they were unable to activate our Cape Town line I am still getting invoices and all emails provided by them to forward the proof of cancellation are returned with failure messages.

So no telephone line or adsl since april 2016, still getting invoices and now being harassed by their credit ppl who phone and drop the line constantly and send me messages to phone them. They also provide emails for me to forward the proof of cancellation and are also returned with failure messages, I did try asking them to email me so I could reply and get told it will take two working days to receive their emails but I have not received any emails from Telkom or their nominated credit sharks.

#Telkom is THE WORST!!!

Perhaps I should be more specific about the problem:
After moving to Cape Town in April 2016 I contacted Telkom repeatedly to have my East London line deactivated and my Cape Town line activated so that I could have a telephone line with internet access, I was told this would take 48hrs. After a few weeks of constantly phoning in and checking the line with no success it became obvious that Telkom was unable to activate my line in cape town and after zero access to the Telkom telephone line and internet along with countless phone calls I decided to cancel my account.
Instead of cancelling my account Telkom decided to keep the line in East London active and continue to charge me for line fees and internet for the Cape Town premises (to point out the obvious, internet cannot be activated or accessed on a line in another province so again Telkom and all their technicians were not able to even understand how to connect an account or process a cancellation).
On the 5 may 2016 I paid R2000 into the account leaving me with a credit of R 503,35 even though I had zero telephone and internet access from Telkom since April 2016.
On the 6 May 2016 I phoned Telkom to cancel my account and they said they would do so and that I did not need to go into the branch to do the cancellation
On the 12 May 2016 I phoned Telkom to find out if they had processed the cancellation and I was told they had not so I went into a Telkom office and spoke with Raeesha Jacobs who gave me the cancellation form and informed me that the cancellation over the phone was not yet processed but the form would be sent off and the cancellation would be processed.
Raeesha also instructed me to fill in a separate page to cancel the application for the Cape Town line activation and her reason was that it was not showing on the system so it had to be a letter from me to be faxed off separately so I wrote it out in front of her which she took along with the other cancellation document to fax off. Raeesha returned and handed me two pages: the cancellation document for the account and the proof of fax
After countless wasted phone calls to Telkom to have the account cancellation completed I have given up completely on their ability to provide any service or even understand what a telephone line does.
Telkom still owes me R 503,35 and I do expect to be reimbursed.
