Telkom is the bane of good internet connection.

It is amazing how the government can take over a business and completely f*ck it up. It is like the ANC decided to take every sector of the government and inject it with some poison so that every business they take over suffers from the same lack of quality.

The connection with Telkom is grade-A awful, and the reviews show it. I would much rather opt for OpenWeb or MTN ANYDAY. I get less than 5mbps speeds and I live in downtown Johannesburg. How pathetic is that? Please, ANC, shut down Telkom so the better internet providers can take over.
