Telkom is Sh** network

I bought a sim card 5 or more years ago, not sure. Then now while using my sim card and have data that I get from NSFAS, the sim card is now acting up. I was told by a consultant at Telkom Shop in South gate that my sim card is not actually mines, it belongs to some Precious. I need assistance from them and the cannot assist me and rectify that mistake. How can the sim card be Precious while we RICA sim cards and I have been using it all this time. I cannot change my number just for that as I use the SIM card for school purposes and banking app are linked on that sim card. Telkom is a sh** network and needs my sim card back on my name
