Telkom is ******** its customers.
I have a data contract with Telkom and last year December I discovered that there was a ********** activity linked to my account. I use a Telkom App and I realized that there were two other accounts that are linked to my account. I reported the matter to Telkom on the 17 December 2019 and I also made a sworn affidavit notifying Telkom that I do not know anything about the two accounts that are linked to my account. I reported the matter at a Telkom outlet at Maponya Mall and was given these reference numbers: ***** case *** and Billing case ***. The consultant at Maponya Mall said Telkom would not bill me as I have reported the matter but to my surprise at the end of December I was billed R1274.01 instead of my usual R266.67 that I entered into a contract with Telkom on. I went back to Maponya Mall to complain and I even told them to suspend those two new accounts as I don’t have anything to do with them, I was told that the accounts would be suspended. When I checked on my Telkom app I realized that indeed the accounts were suspended but they are still providing those two numbers with data but they cannot use it but I’m billed for that. At the end of January Telkom billed my account with R764.67 and they did the same at the end of February. I’m not happy about this because now I’m made to pay for things that has nothing to do with me. I therefore request hello peter to help me because I tried to plead with Telkom to speedy up their investigations but my pleas fell on deaf ears. Every time when I communicate with their consultants via messenger they always promise that their ***** department will contact me but no one from Telkom has ever contacted me. I also request hello peter to help me get my money that was *******ly debited by Telkom back. I hope and trust that my request will be considered. Kind Regards, Duke Motaung Cell: *** / *** Email: ***
