Telkom is "out of stock" and service in general

I tried purchasing a phone via 3 different avenues available from telkom and after 3 months, I still have no phone.

I first entered an online application (Which took 3 trys to get done. There system failed the first 2 times after I entered all of my information)
I received an email stating that my order was received.
A few days later I received a call regarding the application. The lady could not complete my application over the phone because their system was not working. She set a time to call me back the next day and I did not received the call.

I then went into a telkom store to complete the application only to be turned away. The gentlemen claimed that online applications could not be completed in store as the procedures differed.

A few weeks later I received a call regarding an application I made in 2016. I explained that a new application was made online and I would like to proceed on that. He took me through the entire application which I had made online and all the SAME details were re-entered telephonically (JOY!!)

After that entire process, the gentlement explains that the deal which I app**** for could not be done over the phone (30 mins of my life that I will never get back)

I went into the store again, I stood in the line and when my turn came I asked to purchase Huwawei P9 Lite. The lady took my documentation and headed to the counter. She then told me that my bank statements needed to be stamped and pointed me in the direction of the bank.

I came back with the stamped statements and she began the application (Progress?? I wish) I re-iterated that I wanted to purchase the P9 Lite. She then stops to check with her colleague for stock. They are out of stock. Note, the demo model is currently on the floor being advertised.

I decided then that I would go with a different phone which was on promotion with a free power bank. She continues with the application. I point to the pormotion to confirm which deal I was looking to purchase. She looks at the current months (newly issued) brochure and says "we are out of stock". I ask, "why advertise the merchandise?" and she re-iterates with a shake of her head, "we are out of stock".

Dear Telkom,

Thank you for the 3 warnings against the putrid service I would face if I had managed to purchase a phone from you.

Note , you are loosing customers due to your lack of stock control and are falsy advertising promotions which are not coming to fruition for your customers.
