Telkom is not interested in doing real business with anyone

Telkom is advertising an exclusive deal for an iPhone XS. I app**** for two at the end of March 2021 and two days later an agent called to say that they don’t have stock and that I should try again the following week. I tried again the first week of March 2021 and was told again that there is no stock but should try again the next week. I have tried a total of four times now and get exactly the same response. No stock. So on the 7th of April I tried to order a phone again, but another one that the agent said was definitely in stock. It is now the 12th, five days later and no one has even bothered to respond to my application. I have been with Telkom for a long time and know they are less than competent, but why can’t they just do what they advertise?
