Telkom is frustrating

I had a cell phone contract with telkom for 2 years and I paid them fully. 7 years down the line , they send me massages that I owe them R600. I went there to verify they told me that they can't help me, I must call their customer line which I must use my own air time I am very frustrated bcs I can't apply for contract phone bcs of this and I am frustrated
