TELKOM IS FANTASTIC!

I reported a broken landline ***) and internet connection on 4 April 2016 - on 10210 - and escalated it several times thereafter. The landline is still broken and the internet line/service intermittent. In desperation, I went to a Telkom store (unfortunately a corporate sales store) where an employee sympathised with me and suggested that I follow the Hello Peter -route or look for a Telkom van in my neighbourhood, flag it down and ask the technician to repair my line! Ironically, I am a Telkom customer many times over (landline, ADSL line, business cell phone, private cell phone, shareholder), but it seems Telkom does not give a ****

Thank you, Luleka. It seems the problem has now been corrected. I do find it a pity that a customer does not find any joy by following the normal channels (10210), and has to resort to other means (e.g.Hello Peter)
