Telkom is failing to assist and say they do not know what is going on
I opened a new contract with telkom on the 8th October 2023 at iStore , I submitted all my documents including my Nedbank Bank Statement and when they opened the account they created two accounts (each device with it's own account) I took two iPhone 14's then took insurances for both devices at Telkom so the one device and two insurances is in one account and the other device is in it's own account also and I did not want it that way because it means I'll be billed twice for each debit order and my contracts states that it will debit last day of the month each month. So the first deduction went off for one account (one device and two insurances) on the 30th November 2023 it was R2235.04 then the other account did not deduct and I then went to a Telkom store and enquired they told me that the other account went off in my Capitec account bare in my I did not even submit my Capitec bank statement when I initially opened the new contracts and at Telkom they told me that it was done at iStore and I went to iStore they emailed me proof of my contract account and documents I submitted and there was no Capitec bank statement in that profile. They then changed the account into Nedbank also and it debited on the 14 December 2023 it was R1658.59 then on the 19 December 2023 it was in my account again but I had no knowledge of that. On the 29 December 2023 it went off is was R1658.59 then the following day 30 December 2023 it went off again it was R1516.50 then on the 3 January 2024 it went bank into my account again I then went to Telkom and enquired they told me they do not know what is reversing the money and I did not reverse anything and it is only one account that is reversing and Nedbank also confirmed that it is not on their side because the debit orders are going off but they are seeing the reversal going off after three days of each month. They also told me that it is messing up my account and my credit score is also being afflicted and looking like a bad payer now and the is no was they are willing to assist it is as though they are saying it is my fault ad they want to charge me R203.00 for the amount that backed out in which it was not my fault at all I did not submit no Capitec account so they charging me for something that is their fault. I disputed the matter and they told me they need proof and I sent it to them but still nothing and I asked them to changed and combined the accounts they told me my account is in arrears they can only do that when it is paid, but how will it be paid if it keeps on reversing and Telkom does not know anything about it. I just want the matter to be sorted because the one account (one device and two insurances) is fine it is debiting and the second one (one device) it is in arrears and keeps on reversing and it is messing up my credit profile terribly.
