Telkom is a thieving company.

Telkom does not deserve even 1 star.

My parents went in to Telkom in Centurion during the week to simply upgrade their 2mb to a 4 mb internet line. They already have a service provider which is not Telkom.

They currently pay R 166.45 for their 2mb line. All they want to do was go an upgrade the ADSL line to a 4mb for R301.62. This should have just been an addition R 140 odd. They were told they cant just upgrade the line and had to take a package for R600+ . When they went to cancel the request, Telkom wants them to pay a cancellation fee and cant even cancel in store, they now have to do this online.

Telkom is a bunch of *******. I will be complaining about this to the consumer complaints commission as well. I dont know why everything must always be a struggle with Telkom.
