Telkom is a bad service

Telkom is a very poor internet provider and has very low customer service. I've been thru the same with them with my wifi router by explain that there router is old and useless and that it does not work properly, and yet the same answer every time, "it seems to be fine on our end", they never once sent someone out evens to come amd have a look at it seeing how much times I've complained about it so. I've even asked if they could give me a new router seeing mine I 5 years old but no even though it's there routers problem I have to pay R5000 for a new one from them that will probably have the same problems eventually.
