Telkom is a ****

So I signed for the unlimited data with Telkom in 2020 and months after that I cancelled the contract, they debited the last installment. and life went on, after about 2 months, they tried debiting my account and I called in and they said I never cancelled the contract. so I requested them to cancel AGAIN. I thought I was done with Telkom until last month all of the sudden, Telkom appears on my report claiming I owe them R 5920.00! I mean how do I owe you data I cancelled and never used because I destroyed the simcard afterwards.

I feel as consumers we need protection from such ****s, as this can destroy peoples lives, as it will affect your credit score and we need a good credit to even apply for school and renting for a place to stay.

I demand answers and I need this removed ASAP.
