Telkom is a ****

I took out a contract for unlimited home Wi-Fi. I was told I would pay R459 a month regardless of how much data I’d used because it’s unlimited.

First month was fine but every month after that has just been a mes. They never debit the amount we agreed upon. It’s always way more, I mean one month they debited R1059.

When I called to query this I was told there were subscriptions on my account, which by the way I know nothing about; they then said they would cancel the subscriptions and refund the money.

To this day I’m waiting for the refund and a call from the department they’d escalated the matter to. The frustrating part is that they continue to debit more than the agreed amount and nothing is being done.

I’m very disappointed with Telkom. I work for one of the banks and I would always get clients complaining about Telkom and still, against my better judgement I decided to go with them anyway. Am I regretting that decision now!!
