Telkom installed new phone without permission

Telkom installed their new wireless phones in my parents home without them asking for the upgrade. They came during work hours were out and the cleaning lady was at home and just told the cleaning lady that they are coming to put in the new phone. The landlines have also been disconnected without warning and my parents are now with a useless phone that can not receive any calls and are without their old phones that worked perfectly. My parents both have full time jobs and don't have time to go to a telkom shop.
