Telkom influencing new job opportunities

I have been a Telkom Mobile customer for around 5 years. In the last 6 months I ran into some financial difficulty and was no longer able to pay my contract. Telkom has logged my name on ITC and due to background check for a new job opportunity I was asked to sort this matter out with Telkom before I can get the job.

I called Telkom on 24/04/2017 at around 12:00 to make the arrangement, I was told it will take up to 72 working hours. I still called Telkom every day as this is an urgent matter that I would like to sort out.

I was promised via chat, and calls that I would hear from the billing department within 72 Hours and I would have to stay patient. Even though I still called every day to follow up and try make the process faster.

I have records of each call that was made and all promises to call me back. I’ve sent emails with no replies, I was dropped on chats because they did not know how to help me, I have gone in-store and now I’ve had to come to hello peter to have this matter sorted.

Lungelo is the manager that was handling my case last, him and his team at the call center has made empty promises every day since the case was logged.

It has been over 2 weeks. I am now at the point where I might lose this opportunity of a job and the chance to pay you back due to your lack of professional staff, longer then anticipated waiting hours and the fact that you can not send me a letter stating that Ive made an arrangement.
