Telkom, ***********. Never do a deal with them.

The worst experience of my life. I saw the 10gig with router deal for March 2018 on the website and I requested a call back. Sales person phoned me back right away. Sold the rooter/device/contract to me. They took 2 and a half weeks to deliver the device. Took me ages to get it set up. I tried calling Telkom for advice to setup but could not get to the right person. By this time, my blood was boiling. I decides to cancel. The sales consultant told me that I have a 7 day cooling off period to cancel, so on day 3 after receiving the device, I phoned to cancel. Spoke to 9 different people transferring me back and fourth. Eventually the guy who sold it to me over the phone called me back and said I cancelled within my cooling off period so it was fine. Courier it was suppose to collect and they will charge me pro-rata at the end of May. I waited 2 weeks, no one collected the device. Another 30 min holding for someone to pick up the phone at Telkom, the guy said that my cancellation has not been processed.

I will NOT pay for this device for 24months because I cancelled within my cooling off period.

Do not ever, ever, take out deals with Telkom because should you experience a problem, Telkom is ***********.
