TELKOM IN CONTRAVENTION OF THE CPA
After receipt of my invoice per email on 3/2/2016, I spoke to call centre and questioned why my account went from R297.50 per month, then to R127.50 and suddenly to R662.92? Ntombe explained that it is because my contract expired on the 20th February. She requested that I sent my invoice to her via email to [Email Removed] which I did and she would email me a cancellation form.
This did not happen and I went into our local branch and got a form and emailed [Email Removed] on 5/2/2016. To date I have not had any acknowledgement or any contact from them.

CPA states, \Notification: The Supplier is OBLIGED to give the Consumer written or any other recordable form of notification of the pending expiry of the fixed-term contract. Notice MUST be given 40 to 80 business days before the expiration of the contract. The Supplier must also include in the Notice: any material changes to the agreement, should the agreement be renewed
