Telkom ignores the client, but "The National Consumer Commission" will help you.
Telkom billed us for months for Fibre without any connection. It doesn't matter how many you try to resolve the issue with Telkom; they ignore your plea to apply correct business ethics. When they sent the final statement of about R5000 without any connection, we referred our case to “The National Consumer Commission” (aka https://thencc.org.za/) and, with their help, got Telkom to zero the account. In this process, Telkom also needed to remove the “hand-cover status” from the Credit Bureaus. In our experience, Telkom totally disregards the client but will jump to correct their mistakes through “The National Consumer Commission” (aka https://thencc.org.za/).
