Telkom if pathetic - worst service ever!!

Telkom is totally useless!!! We reported our landline out of order last month. A week ago I went online to chat to a consultant. She assured me that she would escalate our problem, seven days later and still nothing!!! We rely on this phone for business purposes and household calls. The lady I spoke to asks me to wait she is checking her system... comes back to tell me that we have a cable problem in our area...... WHAT cables... we are on a wireless phone for almost 6 years!!! Last time I spoke to Telkom I told them to remove the fact that we are on a cable from their system......... well no such luck years later we are still listed as such!!! Then I get an email asking me if I want to go wireless via The Great Migration. Thinking this is at least one way I can get them here to fix our line............ but their site is so pathetic asking me for a street and number.......... we live on a farm there are no numbers. I am fustrated over and beyond to say the least. This country has NO more service deliveries in ANY sector............ but pay we must or else! I am now paying for a landline I cannot use at all. The public just has no leg to stand on when it comes to state owned enterprises..... they are all going down the drain, we get no service but have to keep on paying! NOT ON TELKOM get your act together this is what you are getting a monthly salary for - service delivery
