Telkom - I cannot recommend this company

Two plus months ago. I tried to cancel my landline. I went to a Telkom store to get this sorted out. They said it was not possible to do this at their office/shop in Claremont the Link. I was given a photocopy set of instructions to sort out the problem via the internet. I followed all the instructions and very quickly had a response with a reference number saying all would be attended to within two months. Do me a favour, two months to cancel, really. Since my original message with ***, saying all was ok but I would need to continue paying the account for at least another two months. In the meantime I have received another sms referring to this ref no as a maintenance problem and that the problem has been resolved. I still receive calls on the number and can make calls. Clearly nothing has been done. When I try phoning I get passed around from one operator to another and problem still not resolved
