Telkom - Horrible Customer Service and Lack of Updating your Records

As a long customer of Telkom, I am utterly disappointed at the lack of service they have given me from end March 2025. In March somehow my debit order details got changed, this happened internally at Telkom without my request to change banking details. I went to their branch in Kyalami and my banking details where then changed back, however the ladies at that branch were not interested to do a full investigation of what happened. Account ended in arrears for 1 months and got sorted the following in April and my account double debited and account finally corrected. Despite the correction, I continued to be called by NuDebt of whom I also provided evidence that the account was resolved. During this entire time, instead of calling me or send me a text to say my account was not paid as per normal from Telkom's side, they handed me over to NuDebt in a space of about 1 week.

Despite numerous emails to Telkom as per their requests to ask them to inform NuDebt that my account is now up to date, they still have not done anything. I send emails weekly and instead of getting assistance from a real live person, i get an automated response that gives me a reference and no actual action. I have email time and time again and also called but nothing.

My account is 100% up to date. TELKOM YOUR ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT needs to do better. To make matters worse, i have visited your Woodmead branch your sales team there informed me that my account is in order and escalated the matter (Case ***8). In May you debited my more than my contract, WHY, no one can answer.

I am fed up with your lack of customer service and to make matters worse you call me to offer me new contracts or upgrades. Please fix my account and do not involve me in your incompetence. Imagine trying to resolve a matter you created and ending up have to write such a review.
