Telkom home dsl

This is now the 4th time in less than 2 months that telkom drop my wi-fi internet connection. This is a short rental apartment witch means my guest is stuck without internet. Nobody can do anything remotely. I will have to take time off work to go to location to reconfigure the router. FOR THE 4TH TIM IN TWO MONTHS!! Shocking service. Can't wait to go to another service provider.

9h00 And still no response from Telkom. This utterly useless company does not care about customer service. Technitions are not adequately trained to solve issues or give any answers. Just blameshifting and telling me I have done something to router to reset itself every 3 weeks. I have not toutch it and would not even know how to reset it. This is unacceptable and I want answers as to why my Intenet connection gets dropped every 3 weeks and I have to take time off work to go and reconfigure it. WHY WHY WHY????

When I say go and reconfigure it, that means I have to physically go there, take my table with since there is no computer and call customer service. Then the let me log into 1.0.0.1 or some other Ip adress, log into the router and take me through some steps to change the router password. And nobody can explain to me why this has to happen every 3 weeks. I need to resolve this or I will surely go mad!!!

14H00 and still no response from Telkom. Had to do reconfiguration. However the training of technical customer service agents are shocking. First there is the agent that can't get any furthur than insisting that you plug the yellow cord into the computer, no matter how many times you say that there is no computer at home. Only a tablet and cellphone... Then there is the agent that takes you through the configuration settings but forget to let you enter the wi fi name. Therefore defaulting back to wi fi name of D Link. Therefore old wi fi setttings not connecting and causing major confusion. Then if you really really lucky, you get through to a lady called Gugu (3rd time lucky) and she knows her stuff and takes you through the setup wizard seamlessly. Thank you Gugu, you are a bright light in a sea of darkness!
