Telkom have put me on ITC unjustifiably.

Kindly advise.

This has been by far the worst service I have ever experienced.

Let me begin with early last year. Telkom door to door salesmen were going around selling internet packages to individuals in my place of work. I too app**** for an uncapped VDSL line 4mbps. The Telkom Sales lady i was dealing with said that a Telkom technician would install the line in 7-21 working days. This seemed great. Then... 3 months passed. No sign of Telkom, even after several calls to Telkom asking them what is going on. No call centre agent could help me. I then called Telkom after these 3 months to tell them not to bother coming, when they do decide to come, as I have utilized another service provider. They tell me that all is well and that it is cancelled. Shortly after this i receive post from Telkom, an invoice for the VDSL( that hasn't even been installed or has a Telkom technician ever contacted me). I call Telkom immediately and after about 10 minutes of losing my **** they tell me all is sorted and that I don't owe Telkom any money. I was happy, I thought I was all sorted and didn't have to deal with Telkom ever again. I was wrong. about 1 and a half months back I apply for a new cell phone contract at Cell C. while doing the credit check they tell me i am on ITC. I was beyond shocked as i am punctual with payments. I had to pay R79.00 for a Kudough credit check all to find out Telkom have put me on ITC for a payment of R188.00 for the same VDSL that they have NEVER installed. even better not 1 person from Telkom ever called me about the VDSL that was never installed, yet they were more than happy to bill me for this. What makes matters worse is that I have been struggling for the past month to get a credit letter of good standing as I can do nothing while on ITC.

This is by far the worst telecommunication company that has ever existed. It aslo explain why Telkom is in such a mess today.
