Telkom has the absolute worst customer Service

Or should I say no customer service at all. I first sent my signed customer contract cancellation form to Telkom on 07/01/2017 to an email address I attained from phoning Telkoms customer care line.

I was informed that the line will be cancelled in a month. I received an automated message to say the email had been received. A week later I sent a message on their website just to make sure that my cancellation was indeed received. No response. I got my dad to call them in late January to confirm that the line would be cancelled and it was confirmed that it would be cancelled in February. However, I received my February/March yesterday and it appears that I am being charged for March. So, I got my dad to call Telkom again. Apparently the line has not been cancelled.

Did I mention that I emigrated from the country on 14 January 2017, and this is why I've had to get my dad to call as he is in SA and if called it would cost me a small fortune? Did I also mention that I've had to rent out my apartment in South Africa where the line is installed, and there's no guarantee that the tenant may or may not be using the line that I have to pay for?

Why is every dealing I've ever had with Telkom been so difficult. Does it really need to be so hard? Will my line ever be cancelled? I've sent the cancellation form again this morning with no courtesy email that it's been received. I'll tell you one thing, Telkom sure are on the ball when it comes to sending out their bills.
