Telkom has rude and unhelpful calll centre agents/pushed from pillar to post/ not getting any help

I have contacted Telkom multiple times trying to find a solution to an issue that I have. The issue is that they have a client who has a line with them and defaulted on payments. This was the previous tenant who resided on the property that I am now renting. The previous tenant is unreachable. The landlord has tried all means of contact. The previous tenant has not canceled his line and will not do so, as he owes Telkom. This is an issue between Telkom and their client. I cannot install fibre on the property that I am now renting, as Telkom says that there is no way of resolving this. I spoke to multiple people in Telkom and I just get told the same thing. I was even asked "how is this our problem" by bulelani ngcoko who reports to sicelo jama, of whom I believe he consulted with after he placed me on hold only to tell me that there is nothing that they can do. I did not go into this blaming Telkom for a "bad" client that they had, but what angers me is that there is no solution for this issue. Surely this has happened before. Is Telkom telling me that I will never be able to apply for fibre in my home, unless their existing client can be found? I rely on fibre to make a living. I work from home. How is no one able to assist me. Both Mweb and Vumatel agree with me. I cannot be held responsible for Telkoms client and I should not be forced to have this line in my home. A pointless pre-existing line that I cannot utilise. Vumatel and Mweb has escalated this matter to Telkom but Telkom has not provided them with feedback, It has been over a week with no feedback at all. How am I supposed to see myself through the next month if I do not have an income???

All I want is for this line to be canceled so I can apply for a new one. Telkom can take legal action against their client to retrieve their money but it should not be my issue.

I seriously need help!!
