Telkom has no management only minions limited with resources to take the brunt of people's frustrations.

Hello Peter is my last resort.

Monday 12.03.2018 - Call Telkom to say there's something wrong with their lines, the explain it's the area and they are aware of it they are fixing it. They did fix it. Wednesday 14.03.2018 - Our ADSL goes down and I call to report the fault: Ref 253CNK140318 Thursday 15.03.2018 - Call to check status - the fault is with the remote testing department Friday 16.03.2018 - 11h14a.m. The fault is with a technician, who goes to the exchange to reset the exchange. 13h31p.m. report reference is restored. I call Telkom to advise the problem is not resolved, we still have no ADSL. Telkom: "Then the problem must be your service provider Ma'am." We call our service provider who comes to check EVERYTHING, he finds no fault and as extra measure we even replace the router (it was an old one anyway). Monday 19.03.2018 - Call Telkom, fault still not resolved. New reference number: 267CNK190318. Tuesday 20.03.2018 - Call to check status - the fault is with the remote testing department Wednesday 21.03.2018 - The fault is at the remote testing stations (again) Thursday 22.03.2018 - The fault is with a technician, who goes to the exchange to reset the exchange. Friday 23.03.2018 - Dear Customer your fault has been restored. (No it hasn't) I call them again, they explain to me again that it must be the service provider, I explain to them that I know that it isn't that the service provider has done all troubleshooting on his side and it's definately a telkom issue. They create a new fault for me 163CNK230318 at which point I urge them to send the technician to our premises since he's been to the exchange twice and the problem is still not resolved. The technician has been here, plugged in his own router, says that our router isn't working (it's brand new) and then doesn't listen to me when I tell him, his sim card in the router is what's giving him signal - he blames the service provider again. Today is the 06.04.2018 - I've called Telkom daily, sometimes more than once in a day for now nearly a month. Our business is losing customers. We're spending a fortune on data just to be able to give our International guests wi-fi and of course answer emails and RUN OUR BUSINESS (A hotel, restaurant and dive resort) The poor call agents can not hand us over to any superiors to be able to assist, they have had all my frustrations for the last 4 weeks and I'm feeling like a dog chasing it's tail as I call them and already know what the answer is going to be. The Telkom website's email option doesn't even allow you write an email. You merely get to ask your desired department a question. I'm hoping that this gets SOMEONE's attention so that i can PLEASE get my problem resolved. My latest fault reference is 29CNK040418 for the telephone line also now being down. As a business we have 3 wi-fi ****le contracts, 2 business mobile contracts, 2 land lines and the ADSL service. Oh and by the way - the Alwayson service is a farce too - for 3 days I've been trying to get our "dead line" diverted to my telkom mobile.
