Telkom handed over account after cancelling and getting confirmation from them

I have cancelled my account with Telkom in June 2020. For both the LTE and the landline as I had fibre installed. They sent sms's confirming that they acknowledge the cancellation (for both). The following month I received a bill, them claiming that I have requested it be changed to a voice contract. I get another reference number for cancelation. Next month, same thing. Spent countless hours on the phone and email with multiple reference numbers.

Then, a few months later I get an email informing me that my I have been handed over to DC Fourie attorneys. I sent over all the reference number and email correspondence I have. I tried following up with Terrence, the "lawyer" from DC attorneys. The last I got a response (May 2021) they were still awaiting feedback from Telkom.

This is on my credit report now, due to no fault of my own. Not sure where to report this but surely there is a type of ombudsman that I can settle this matter. #hellkom
