TELKOM GOOD PRODUCT - VERY BAD SERVICE

The history of my problems is as follows:

I have subscribed to HomeOffice LTE 50GB for R699/month a while ago and it worked great, except that the children ran through the data in no time. I saw the adverts for the uncapped SmartBroadband LTE for R799/month and was lucky to get a space on the tower by applying online. I went to the Telkom shop at Woodlands to do the paperwork for a migration from the HomeOffice contract to the uncapped SmartBroadband package. They told me that the it is not possible to do the paperwork through them but that I will be called and the migration will be done over the phone. Not long after that I was called by someone from Telkom, I presume, and I told the lady that I have the HomeOffice LTE and want to migrate to the uncapped SmartBroadband package. I was told that it is possible and we went through a long list of questions. At the end of the interview I asked her that the HomeOffice be discontinued as soon as the SmartBroadband becomes active and she told me that as soon as the sim card of the SmartBroadband is activated that the HomeOffice will be de-activated. I was told the sim card, router and antenna will be delivered via courier and the antenna will be installed by technicians soon after I have received the package. I have received the package late June – early July not 100% sure, and waited about a week but nobody called or showed up to install the antenna. I therefore installed the antenna myself and found that the sim card is active and internet was available. I have not used the HomeOffice again after I have installed the antenna. However, I have noticed that I was still charged for the HomeOffice package although I was not using it.

I have visited the Telkom shop at Woodlands twice and got two Case numbers for reporting the issue of being charged for the HomeOffice, although I am not using it. The case numbers and dates are as follows::

********** 9 on 7th of August 2016
********** 1 on 3rd of November 2016

I got a phone call from Telkom after my first complaint, asking me a few questions and I explained the situation that I do not need or use the HomeOffice internet and that I clearly stated that during the migration application. Nothing happened further and the deductions from my bank account continued. Since then I have tried several times to resolve it telephonically. Everytime I was told that they will send e-mails to the back office and that my query will be attended to. The last time I insisted to talk to the supervisor and did so, explaining the situation again. Nothing changed, my monthly Telkom account still includes the cost of the two contracts!!

Although the product is excellent and works well I am not getting any service regarding my account and nobody at Telkom seems to care. The lack of interest to respond, e-mail or phone call, is disturbing and makes you think of the consequences of signing any debid order with an institution like Telkom. My only and last resort is to go to the bank and to stop the debit order.

Telkom, get your house in order and respond to your own internal systems!!!!! YOU NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CLIENTS !!!!!!

Good day,
We apologize for the delay.
We have requested for further assistance from cancellations.
We will make sure your query is attended to. Case ***9.
Kind regards

Today is the 4th of March. I had a phone call from Telkom a month ago and I was promised that my queriy will be resolved., which is already 8 months old This month TELKOM again took money from my account *******ly (I call it theft). In the meantime I have collected reference numbers and promises but no resove for my simple problem. I have migrated from one contract to another, cancell the previous contract. You do not have authority to take money from my account for that contract - it is null and void. I will stop all payment to TELKOM by the end of the month, maybe that will elicit a proper response. GET YOUR ORGANIZATION IN ORDER!!!!! or maybe you are not capable????????
