Telkom going from bad to worse
<p>I have just tried to buy Telkoms "Deal of the Month" online and what a total disaster that was after filling the form in and saying confirm order you get this detial needs attention but what detail it never tells you even though you have filled in EVERY line then you can try the Chat option if you want to look at your screen because after 19 minutes yes 19 it was still "waiting for Telkom to repond" so then I had another stupid idea I thought I would call them, first I got a robot asking me about my Telkom phone and number (my phone is on CellC) so I had to guess what I wanted and ended up in the wrong department where a lady then transferred me to sales, after 13 minutes (at my expense) I gave up waiting, stopped the call and phone the original department back I then asked the lady to ask the sales department to please call me that is a call I am still waiting for and all I wanted to do was buy from them surely that is what they want people who buy their stuff or am I totally wrong, what a comedy act Telkom really are I think they have had the monopoly for far too long</p>
After writing the review I went back to the website and managed to send my details and request that someone phone me as I want to but one of the LTE deals 24 hours later and I am still waiting, Telkom's sales and service seem to be an absolute shambles and being sorry for inconvenience caused does not do anything for me and if as you say WE are sorry am I to assume you mean the social media team then dont be you have nothing to do with this mess it is your online sales team that should be apologising and getting fired as well they are useless and costing the company customers and money and more to the point a very BAD name, so perhaps you should tell your CEO that

What a truly appalling state TELKOM is really in, it is totally unbelievable that a companies SALES department, where thjeir income is derived from can be so absolutely disgusting and it is time that they had a big shake up and a few dismissals for non performance, they have not only disregarded my appeal for service they totally ignore requests from this site as well, it is about a month since I ordered what I thought was a reasonable item on-line I have phone and been told "someone will call you" I was informed of a reference number AI ********** though what the hell that was for I have NO idea as it did nothing, I did a repost of my complaint and was informed by the lady that "someone will call you" she was quite right lots of people have phoned me but NOT FROM TELKOM, do these people want to sell their advertised products or not I think that the latter applies It really is the most disgusting service that I have ever encountered
