Telkom Freeme Migrations

Ive spent almost an hour in a Telkom store trying to do a migration on my freeme contract package. Eventually after convincing them by showing them on the Telkom website that it is possible, they've now told me its not possible to migrate (upwards) to Freeme 20Gb at the new price of R499pm, for the remainder of the contract.

They have said its only possible if I sign a new 24month contract.

Please confirm if this is the case, as it seems strange to me.
